Video – Incredible Istanbul: Three Perfect Days

This enormous city is a blend of Europe and Asia in the best possible way. Istanbul is one of the world’s oldest cities – but with its surreal landscape, delicious food, notoriously fun nightlife and vibrant culture attracting all sorts of visitors, the best is yet to come. This is a visual experience of my time with my wife while in Istanbul – one of our last international trips before we have a baby. While we haven’t decided on the “somewhere warm” babymoon just yet, I was invited to Turkey to celebrate the 20th year anniversary of a...

The Minute Tour: Istanbul, Turkey

Istanbul literally sits on two continents. Half the city is in Europe, and the other half is in Asia. Therefore it’s no understatement to claim that this Turkish city sits at the crossroads of several monumental cultures and heritages. MINOTAUR RECOMMENDATIONS         Attractions: There is no shortage of things to see in Istanbul. Head directly to the Old City, which lies on the south banks of the Golden Horn, to visit some of Istanbul’s finest mosques and historical sites. The mosques are free, but museums like the Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia cost...
