Sunset on the Nile River, Luxor Egypt

Nothing beats a sunset on the bank of the Nile in Luxor, Egypt. I hate talking in cliches, but spending a few days cruising the Nile is truly a life changing experience. The Nile is recognized as the longest river in the world – spanning over four thousand miles and running through ten countries. If you’ve never been to Egypt, make sure you block a few days off to cruise the Nile and visit some of Egypt’s most famous sites such as Aswan and Luxor. Consider splurging a little on your choice of boat, which makes the experience all the more worthwhile and memorable. My cruise recommendations are the Oberoi Zahra Nile River Cruiser, the Abercrombie and Kent Sanctuary Sun Boat III, or the Sanctuary MS Nile Rover Adventurer.

Have you ever cruised down the Nile? Which boat did you travel on? Would you recommend your experience to others?
