A Churrascaria (Chu-Ra-Sca-Ria) is a Brazilian barbecue house that specializes in amazing, delicious, savory varieties of grilled meats. Chicken, steak, pork, lamb; you name it, it’s served (who ordered the Chicken Hearts?). Each dish is cut off the skewer in front of you directly on to your plate. Halfway through the meal, I joked I didn’t understand why we weren’t staying IN the churrascaria. No, seriously. They could have just set me up a bed by a table so I could eat and fall asleep at my leisure – literal #foodporn heaven.
After this experience, I’ve decided no one can work a grill like a Brazilian can. Period. Find out why below and watch as I visit my first Churrascaria in Brazil and get a hands on lesson on cutting meat (which I’m apparently terrible at). Special thanks to Bufalo Branco and Loumar Turismo in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil for this amazing feast!

Mmmmmmm… I’m hungry… that’s the best option now!
I love “Churrascaria”, ehhehe
Oh! I remember how happy you were when the meat kept coming! It’s our never ending service at “churrascarias”. So you must come back to Brazil, this time Rio de Janeiro wait for you!
kisses
